Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR List

- - - Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme, hosted by The Broke and The Bookish, where a new topic is given for a top ten list - - -

I don't think I've ever stuck to a tbr list completely but here are some books that I really hope to start:
(Click covers for Goodreads link)

1. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
Now that I know Winter will be releasing this year, I need to get a move on with The Lunar Chronicles!
I finished Cinder the beginning of this year and adored it. I can't wait to start Scarlet
which based on the synopsis will parallel Red Riding Hood. :D

2. Seeds of Iniquity by J.A. Redmerski
I LOVE THIS SERIES. It's one of those books that make me question good vs. evil.
The other books in the series were thrilling and intense.
I was hoping book 4 would be more on Fredrik but this Nora character sounds kickass as well.

3. On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
I have a few friends who have read Ms. Marchetta's books, loved them and pushed them on me.
So this is it, it's time for me to join the bandwagon (hopefully)!

4. Fuel the Fire by Krista & Becca Ritchie
THIS is the book I know without a doubt will be read once it releases!
The next book in the Addicted/Calloway Sisters series (fav NA contemporary romance).
I cannot wait to see more of Connor and Rose, and learning their backstories <3

5. Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers
This book just screams "strong badass heroine here, read me, you will love me".
Siiri recommended this one to me and I have yet to not like something she's pushed on me so far haha.
Bring on the female assassins!

6. Wild and Free by Kristen Ashley
The epic conclusion to KA's paranormal series, I've been waiting on this book since I last read
With Everything I Am.
I have a number of KA new releases on my tbr but this is at the top!

7. Clipped Wings by Helena Hunting
I purchased this and book 2, Inked Armor, because of the covers. The back looks just as fabulous.
But I'm always on board to read NA contemporary romances!
I've been told by Jessi that there's hot guys, tattoos and cupcakes. What more can I ask for really.

8. Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
Beauty and the Beast is my all-time favorite movie.
I've been in a fairy-tale retelling mood too, so I'm hoping to tackle this one soon!
And, LOOK AT THAT COVER. Wow.

9. Six of Hearts by L.H. Cosway
Did someone say magic?
This book sounds stellar, and from what I hear, it is
I'm a huge fan of magicians and illusionists so I can't wait to start this one!

10. Beautiful Player by Christina Lauren
I've actually already read this book (and loved it), but I thought I'd do a reread now and again so I chose this one.
Plus, I need to tab all my favorite scenes and quotes!

  7. I almost NEVER stick to TBR lists, either. ;) Back in January I planned out my summer reading list, and after two book that idea died...

Scarlet is so good! If you enjoyed Cinder, I definitely think this is better. Plus the ship here is 100x more ship-worthy than Cinder and Kai. Even ask Siiri. ;)

I really need to read Redmerski's In the Company of Killers books, too! I've heard pretty awesome things and it's totally about time that I gave this series a shot.

FUEL THE FIRE OF COURSE. Just a bit over a week left. <3

I also adored Grave Mercy. The book in itself had such a strong plot and a gorgeous historical setting. Plus Duval.

I enjoyed Cruel Beauty, but the ending was confusing as hell. xD Definitely agree that that cover is to die for. ;D

    Happy reading, Jae! <3
